On 18th April, Anqing Foreign Language School’s President Madam Huang Wenli, Vice Chairman of the Labor Union Xu Haihong and six officials with Municipal Education& Sports Bureau headed for Dian Qian Village, Yue Xi County to pay a visit and extend regards to the poverty-stricken family.
Initially, President Madam Huang Wenli chatted with the low income family and inquired after their well-being. Furthermore, Madam President acquired detailed information in terms of the family members’ recent physical conditions, children ’s growth as well as the issues in their life. Madam President encouraged them to proceed with confidence and be optimistic so that the poverty household would endeavor to shift for themselves soon and achieve prosperity. Other than that, Madam President sent consolation money to them.
To conclude, the poverty-stricken family was grateful to President Madam Huang Wenli for her encouragement, concern and love, expressing that he felt warmth from within and their family was determined to pull through and build confidence in casting off poverty to become better off.
Meanwhile, in the 6th Session Appraisal Campaign in regard to the categories such as the Outstanding Middle School Students’ Club, Excellent Creative Activity Blue Print, Elite Adviser as well as the Advanced Student Individual in Anqing City, Anqing Foreign Language School’s Art Club was awarded the honorary title of the ‘Outstanding Middle School Students’ Association’. What’s more, the Debate Club had the honor to obtain the ‘Excellent Creative Activity Blue Print’ title of honor. In addition, teacher Cao Tong was granted the ‘Elite Adviser’ award and student Su Kun was presented the honorary title of ‘Advanced Student Individual’.
